the agency is soliciting pitches from private companies to monitor threats across the internet — with a special focus on social media.

We wouldn’t want to be held back by any restrictions placed on actual law enforcement agents, I guess?

My assumption is they will get taken to the cleaners by some company that will set up an AI monitor that barfs false positives at the agency all day.
