Does the controller work with Linux? If it does, is there a way to configure it like with the GameSir Nexus app on Windows?

Have you tried the manufacturer's software with Wine or "mono" ?

Even If it would work in Wine which I doubt it's only on the Microsoft store. MS store apps are incompatible with Wine. Probably other ways to configure it but it does everything I need so I'm not worried about it. Thank you!
