Just rings for now, going to expand functionality later to handle authentication for unlocking the door and maybe other things lol
LCARS is the name for the fictional user interface from the next generation era of star trek shows. There were 3 shows set during this era with 7 seasons each airing from the late 80s to the early 2000s. So there's a lot of star trek content featuring this design aesthetic which makes it popular among fans.
