First garlic harvest!

This year was my first time growing garlic out on my own (my parents have grown garlic for a few years). I learned a lot this year and I can't wait to plant again in the fall!
How are they so clean? Did you just wash 'em?
Nope! After you harvest you can peel off the outermost layer, it doesn't affect the curing process and leaves you with nice clean garlic! You can see the dirty ones in the background.
Nice! Now I feel stupid for not having done this before. I'll try it with my next harvest.
