Gets caught being racist in the past

People in turn thought it was the official discord server and that Xananax an official member, and started harassing the actual Godot staff. They are forced to ban people who appear to be harassing them for no reason. Today they posted a statement to clarify

Update: Statement from Xananax

Looks like this is actually a reactionary response to them stopping hate speech in their server.

There is absolutely nothing bigoted about separating concerns, and avoiding mixing genders & sex into programming and engineering. The fact that people want to look good by doing random stunts like this while labelling "bigots" and "nazis" anyone who disagrees tells pretty much everything about why extreme left provoke such repulsion

It's not about the actual meaning, the statement itself is double talk to tell people to shut up when other people want to be bigots. There's nothing wrong with wanting separation but communities should be inclusive by default with codes of conduct. Just simple rational organization, nothing else. Also I should clarify political to me is talking about elections in different countries and voting. Whether or not members of my community should exist or face harassment is not a political issue.

Okey. Now, since you said there is nothing wrong with wanting separation, and saying " let's keep those things apart" apparently is double talk, what is in your opinion the correct way to say that?

For starters, the exact words are "Should focus on software, not politics". This is a commonly known dogwhistle, there are numerous cases of someone questioning whether trans people should have rights then saying this. The only correct way to say it is, "let's not bring in legal politics". Morality and Organization are separate topics and cannot be discarded in any context where people organize. That is all.

First of all, I don't think anyone, anywhere questioned trans rights in software. I believe this a "dogwhistle" but from the other side. Nobody gives a slightest damn about identity & genitals of who contributes to the software or who makes games. I am open for an counter example, if you could provide one.

Second, i don't understand your "morality and organisation..." sentence sorry

Edit: still waiting for the counter example
