I can't imagine how this mf will react when he discovers he can take cover against ranged enemies. And, like, why setup with a +three thousand warding wand when you can just invest those in armor and damage and just kill the threat.
taking cover =/= attacking enemies while they can't and the warding was just an example since you said it only becomes "decent" with lots of upgrades
Ok, but while you spend your upgrades on wands of prismatic light, I use them on armor and weaponry and just kill them. And the enemies still pathfind towards you while blinded, so you can't even attack melee enemies that way. I will keep using wands that don't need upgrades to be good, like fireblast, corrosive, blastwave and transfusion and you keep +15 your warding but dying to monks and golems
