Welcome Wordpress developers, designers and site owners!

I've migrated over here from Reddit, and one of the most common questions posted that were posted on the Wordpress sub were regarding how to optimize Wordpress sites and reduce their load times. This is my self-written guide on how to optimize a Wordpress site for page speed.

Please let me know if I've missed anything, and I'll happily add it to the guide!

WordPress.org has lifted its ban on hosting provider WP Engine until October 1, after putting a block on it earlier this week. The block prevented several sites from updating their plug-ins and themes and exposing them to potential security risk.
