I just learned about this executive order (section 6-b) which says Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 on April 20th which will ammount to declaring martial law. That's the end of the USA.

If you haven't already made an escape plan, I suggest doing so right now. This is not a drill!

The only way I see out of this is to absolutely flood the streets European style 24/7. A general strike. A mass and sustained boycot. We need to shut it all down. It won't be convenient. It won't work with your schedule. Know your rights and defend them. Spread this message to everyone you know. It must go viral.

Edit 1: Note that The Insurrection Act of 1807 is different from the The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 which Trump has already invoked.

Edit 2: Here is the relevant EO text:

Within 90 days of the date of this proclamation, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall submit a joint report to the President about the conditions at the southern border of the United States and any recommendations regarding additional actions that may be necessary to obtain complete operational control of the southern border, including whether to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807.

Note that we should treat this as a foregone conclusion despite the language indicating it isn't.

DOGE is a trojan horse using the excuse of efficiency to gain access to different departments of the government Trump doesn't like. DOGE also will gain access to personal information of Americans without a warrant or due process. DOGE is a way for Trump and his criminal helpers to test how far his power goes. If unchecked on these "minor" issues his play will extend to more criminal actions. How about he gets an election list that gives him your last presidential vote? Let's be clear about the protocol for First Amendment violations at Town halls.

If anybody is removed simply for exercising their First Amendment right to free speech everybody in the crowd stands up and prevents any exit from the crowd. Do not block exits from the building and definitely do not touch polic; DO LOCK ARMS with your neighbor, but do not allow anybody to be removed from the audience.

If anyone is successfully removed from the audience for exercising their First Amendment right to free speech, EVERYBODY leaves.

Also take the initiative to schedule another follow-up Town Hall only for audience members to discuss whether everybody in attendance is satisfied with the representatives answers to our questions, and who to replace them with if not.
