Hey everyone! I am the founding moderator of c/conservatism.

This is the Fediverse home for all things related to conservatism. We are glad you decided to join us! Now let us fire off some rapid common questions:

What should I do?:

Post (or comment) on anything that you think the community would find intriguing, helpful, or other matters related to the community. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, or questions about conservatism!

What is the culture of this community?

We are a constructive environment that is welcoming of anyone! Be friendly and let us build a neutral Fediverse conservative space!

How to Get Started:

1): Read the rules.

2): Introduce yourself in the comments below.

3): Post something related to the community! We strive to spark conversation and respectful debate.

4): If you know someone who would be interested in debating conservatism or simply someone who wants to be amongst fellow conservatives, invite them to join.

5): If you are interested in moderating, we are currently looking for prospective people, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

If you made it this far, much obliged for being here and reading this all the way through. Let us build a non-extremist or non-hateful conservative space on the Fediverse! Seriously... do not be extremist or hateful. Every single conservative space in the past in the Fediverse has been. This will not be tolerated.

This is a community for conservatism. The rules are as such:

  1. No racism or ethnosupremacism.

  2. No antisemitism (including dogwhistles or using right or left politics to deny it).

  3. No misogyny (such as saying women should not vote).

  4. No queer-hatred (disagreeing with their lifestyle is not a blank cheque for vitriol or exclusion).

  5. No ableism.

  6. No ageism.

  7. No personal attacks or strawmen on others (ad-hominens). ARGUE IN GOOD FAITH!

  8. No spam.

  9. No flood.

  10. No trying to find loopholes in the rules.

  11. Moderator and the host instance has the final say. Follow the Terms of Sevice of PieFed and, even if you may disagree with them, the broader Fediverse as a whole.
