Pet Rocks Of The Lemmy

This is a dedicated community for pet rocks and the people who care about them. Name them. Document them. Build habitats. Write their lore. Take them traveling. Develop rituals. Treat them as objects of attachment, humor, minimalism, or conceptual art. Low-effort spam and irony-without-intent are not the goal. Thoughtful absurdity is. This is not just a meme feed. It’s a micro-culture.

Community Rules

  1. Mandatory Title Tags All posts must begin with one of the approved title tags listed below. Posts without a valid tag may be removed. This system replaces flair and ensures structural clarity within the community. (See “Approved Title Tags” section below.)

Even [SHITPOST] or [STATUS] posts must show minimal effort and relevance to pet rocks.

  2. No AI Flooding Creative experimentation is acceptable. Mass-generated, repetitive, or automated content is not. The focus of this community is personal engagement and intentional creation.

  3. Keep It SFW No NSFW content. This community centers on companionship, creativity, and conceptual humor — not shock value.

  4. Original Content Strongly Encouraged Original posts are preferred. Reposts must add commentary, context, or transformation. Drive-by reposting may be removed.

  5. Respect the Tone and the Members Playful seriousness is part of the culture. Mocking other members or derailing posts with dismissive irony is not acceptable. Let people engage sincerely with their rocks.

  6. Moderator Discretion Moderators may remove content that undermines the identity, tone, or quality of the community — even if not explicitly listed above. The goal is long-term cultural coherence.
