Five and a half years of living in pandemic isolation:

I hit an isolation challenge tonight and realized I no longer know anyone who is also living in full solo isolation without human touch. (Your 3 week solo writer's retreat or "pandemic isolation" with a partner, a dog, and backyard parties is not comparable; do not test me on this or I will block you.)

There are are many different, specific types of loneliness & this is one.

Then I look at the preventions people do and don't take against COVID-19 and what they consider reasonable risks.

Then I look at Biosafety Level 3 precautions again.

I need a new game. A cozy, non-stressful, can drop in and out, gentle focus but not cognitively challenging, take a break from reality and get some dopamine hits game.
Android phone, preferably free, easy to get started.

This is what I have been playing, but I am a builder not a battler and next phases of the game involve lots of stuff I don't enjoy and plateaued on what I was enjoying.

The @LonelinessCorps btw, is just an interface to connect anyone wanting to combat social isolation, for yourself or for others.

Share cool things going on online or remotely.

Share ideas of ways to build community and connections out in meatspace.

Find people to learn new things, or nerd out on old favourites.

- The Trouble with Angels is medium spice comedy romance that's funny and big-hearted with a great story. It gets good reviews from people who don't think of themselves as romance fans.

- Lockdown and Dirty is the book I won a narration award for. It is very high spice but also wholesome, about a sweetheart of a guy who has a big crush on his roommate but doesn't want to endanger their friendship.

Or you can pick a title from any of the books in my catalogue.
