Ohhhh well.

Maybe we can have a setting later that allows legacy back button behavior. It's useful when moving through several communities on different instances, for example.

This goes against the spirit of the back button. Back button should always take you to the last page you were on. Its always annoying when an app overrides that and instead takes you back to where it thinks you want to go.

I like the option to cycle through pages too, but can also see the reason for not wanting to cycle through all of the low-level pages. Currently there is the back arrow in the upper left that (i think) cycles through the previous pages, and the home button that takes you home. Maybe keep the back button aligned with home and allow for "swipe left to right" to cycle pages so there are 2 ways to navigate both options?

Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
