Yeah this is why I try to avoid arguing on the internet. I never feel better for it and I'm fairly certain that I've never convinced anyone to change their position on anything.

There is no evidence or need for a higher self. I am me and I will exist until I die and there is no need for anything beyond the immense universe we live in to give purpose or meaning to existence.
