Anyone know where the federated timeline is in the native #Pixelfed app? I can see it in other apps, but can’t find it in the native app.

No offense but why are you using hashtags

[-] neblem@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago

Hashtags work on other fedi platforms, many people subscribe to lemmy communities elsewhere.

That much I know but I guess it's somewhat wild to me that you would subscribe to a Lemmy community off mastodon. People there seems a bit off

EDIT: Lots of morons below are taking my comment to mean that I'm surprised they could not that they would (want to) which are different words that mean different things.

Everybody and their grandma understands how federation works on here, you ain't smart for figuring it out. All blocked.

Why would it be wild to you that someone would use a technology the way it’s intended?

Huh? Nah I just find it weird that people on mastodon would interact with Lemmy, not that they could.

It's beyond moronic to misframe my comment as being ignorant of the fediverse and then respond to it like a busted LLM with a skewed data set. Blocked.

Why wouldn’t they?

This comment hurts my brain. There’s a lot more to the fediverse than a single app.

Don't blame them. They are but a simple internet denizen born and raised in a world of walled gardens and proprietary protocols. The brilliance of the fediverse is blinding for they have never used their eyes.

A true poet!

You're a condescending shitwit for instance either doing a dunning kruger speedrun on reading comprehension or misinterpreting on purpose, probably a 12 year old tiktok child, why would anyone sub to a Lemmy community off mastodon with people like you about? I'm contemplating leaving myself. Blocked.

This is not an airport. You don’t have to announce your departure. You can just leave.

[-] LainTrain@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Of course it does, everyone finds reading difficult the first time they do it. Try it again when you've had some rest and you may realize that your interpretation isn't correct or what was meant at all. I just find it weird that people on mastodon would interact with Lemmy, not that they could.

Your confidence in your ignorance is what's wrong with the world today. Blocked.

You can’t just say blocked. It doesn’t work that way. #michaelscott

Nothing magical about it, it's just federation, that's not what I was referencing in my comment - my interest was more about a potential culture clash - despite what the hordes of retards replying above seems to want to frame it as.

Yeah I don't mind em too on Mastodon because poor twitter design philosophy makes things hard to search and filter. Not on here though. Blocked.

I don’t think there is one. The Impressia app (iOS) does though.

[-] jdw@links.mayhem.academy 2 points 1 month ago

That’s the app I use. It is nice.

I just find the federated timeline a good way to find new people. Because everyone is stuffed onto the flagship instance, there’s prolly lots on the local timeline. But not so for smaller or newer instances.
