When officials asked Blitch why he climbed the fence, he told deputies β€œhe did not agree with the confederate flag and wanted to lower it.”

He also told Spartanburg County deputies he drove from Atlanta to lower the flag and then he would drive back to Atlanta.

Spartanburg sounds like it's been named by edgy teens

I can't speak on the history of how it got its name, but having met some of the people that live there...yeah...

Who do you think the Mother Country was sending to colonize The New World?

Say you're a Lord with five [legitimate] sons; eldest gets the title and all the goodies, but you've got to do something for the rest. One to the Army, one to the Navy, one to the Church, one to the House of Commons, and the youngest gets 10,000 acres of farm land in the colonies.

We should all act like a Blitch once in a while to clear things up a little.

Something I've oft fantasized about, too bad he didn't succeed! Next time plan better, perhaps a small flame attachment on a drone would set the flag ablaze without you having to get near enough to get caught?

Then he'd be facing felony arson charges.
