It depends on what they are a normie to. Being a normie in terms of a sport isn't a big deal. Being a normie in regards to our capitalist dystopia is a serious problem.

The "noble savage" attitude towards political normies is probably motivated the concepts of blame or responsibility. It ultimately doesn't matter if they're blame worthy; what matters are the consequences of their ignorance.

Exactly, pointing fingers just eats into problem-solving time at this point. Just shovel'em aside and start digging that drainage ditch, s'what I say... Once the job's done, we'll have all the time in the world to poke eachother in the eyes.

But what does being a normie on regards to capitalism mean? Being part of it or going to work? It's not much of a choice.

Thinking it's acceptable and not being in favor of improving things.

we're all forced to work within the system, normies do so without questioning it

In Western anthropology, philosophy, and literature, the noble savage is a stock character who is uncorrupted by civilization. As such, the noble savage symbolizes the innate goodness and moral superiority of a primitive people living in harmony with Nature.

If that’s illuminating for anyone, curious to hear your thoughts.

I'm well acquainted with the "noble savage" concept, but I still don't know what this means
