Sorry I’m a bit new to chess so I’m unfamiliar with the rules. Are we at risk of being captured by the knook here?
we're both white pieces so we're on the same team (the knook is on a different background because it's a checkered board)
This is Chess, not Checkers. We need a completely different board.
Imagine the shock some people are going to have once they realize they played chess on the wrong board all these years
I once played checkers on a chess board. It works better than the other way around, but it isn't fun
