So... This is kind of relevant to me since I live in the general area. Does anyone outside Germany care?

To be frank: it seems to me like the article is banking on the culprit being some kind of immigrant. That's the only reason I could see it being in any way interesting internationally: as a thing to point at and say, "immigration bad! germany fucked up!" And that's pretty disgusting in my most humble of opinions.

If it was AfD it would also be internationally interesting indicating that far right violence against elected officials has spilled out of America
