It’s still fucking with me that a man i first encountered as the introducer of women jumping on trampolines on the Man Show as a horny 11 year old is somehow a relevant character in the end of democracy in the United States
Comedians have more insight and empathy for the masses, because their career depends on relating to people. Zelenski was a comedian - actor that was relatable to his people.
Not so much that he’s a comedian, but the specific comedian he is, I would be much less surprised if say Jon Stewart was in the same position. And I’m not knocking Jimmy it’s just been a really strange journey to get here
