Man, what the fuck happened to you guys to go so far backwards from where you were in the 1940's? You've become the people this video was warning your past selves about!
I watched this short yesterday, it's a lovely piece. Most of us weren't alive in the 1940s. That wasn't us, it was our grandparents and great grandparents... "the Greatest Generation" of Americans.
We like to take credit for their achievements in WW2 without much thought about the historical context that led to the rise of fascism and tens of millions of deaths in that era.
We're on track to be remembered as the "Worst Generation" if enough Americans turn out to be suckers.
Tbh “Worst Generation” isn’t nearly as bad as “Last Generation” or “Still Not the Worst Generation”. I’ll take it.
