For example if you want to info dump about your special interest but it doesn’t fall into “autism related” then you can post it here in the comments. Hello and thanks for starting this thread.

I hope to find some good ASD related communities in Lemmy. I’m still very new to Lemmy but I just deleted my 17 year old Reddit account and would like to replace the various subreddits with Lemmy communities (or at least I think that’s what they’re called). One of my favorite subreddits was EvilAutism which was pretty casual but fun and a place with likeminded people. I’d love to hear any suggestions you all have. Thanks!

Welcome! It was hard to leave reddit, sorta.... there are some good communities here, but we just don't have the numbers that reddit does. I'm mostly ok with it. :)

Also, I didn't find out I was autistic until after I made the lemmy switch, so I don't know what the reddit asd communities are like.
