I'll be honest, I absolutely hated the new album. It's not what I wanted from Porter, but if he has new fans and he enjoys what he does more doing pop, more power to him.
I'll keep listening to Spitfire EP and Worlds.
Porter doesn't want to continue to make the same kinds of music over and over. He's talked about it a few times in recent interviews.
That's fair enough, I don't want to write the same software in the same programming language for the rest of my life!
