TL:DR

They were going to do a storyline about Sam and Dean realizing that they cannot save everyone, and that they should at least try to warn people, so they go public with proof of monsters. It was originally going to be a season finale with the next season focusing on the two in more mentorship roles rather than main ones. They did not do this because it would have "blown up the show in a very odd way" and would not have been a good idea in the longrun, most likely destroying the show.

They also mentioned that they were originally going to bring back the Antichrist character as a bigbad(?) but did not for undisclosed reasons.

The third thing they mentioned was wanting to do more "international plotlines". IE Sam and Dean traveling to other countries to help out sometimes and more international threats, but it would have ruined the Americana vibe and theme to the show. They admit the BMOL dropped the ball a bit but they wished to expand upon international hunters more.

The first episode he was introduced I was so stoked to see how it panned out, and I'm happy with the way it did, but it would've been so cool to see this attitude follow through the whole show.

We all know there are tons of plot holes and continuity errors in the show. But Im watching an episode in season 7.

The episode where Dick first grabs Kevin.

In the episode, Sam and Dean are at a gas station. They leave Bobby's flask in the car, so they can talk in the store without Bobby being able to go inside and hear what they say.

Literally the next scene, they are all in the car, outside the vamp house, and Bobby is able to "scope out the house" while the boys, and more importantly, the flask, remain in the car.

If leaving the flask on the car kept Bobby from going into the store, how was he able to check out the house, if the flask was in the car?

I know it's not a major plot point or anything. But, jeez. Break a rule put in place in the literal next scene?

Like, come on.

Dean's adolescent actor deserves such credit for his emotional expressions in this scene. He expresses such immediate, desperate pain. I really am on the edge of bawling for poor Dean and his poor girlfriend.

S1E17 Hellhouse was made a lot funnier with these two jackasses

I personally was always interested in seeing a wendigo that wasn't a latex type, as shown in animal-style legends with an animal skull.

Investigating more legends and creatures, some options I found are the Pompero, a goblin from South America that is said to be helped by you if you make offerings to him, but if you fail him one day he'll come for you (come on, that story writes itself).

Succubi / Incubi, lustful creatures that usually feed on the vital essence of people (that would have been a good Valentine's Day special).

And the elephant in the room, continuing with the Roman and Norse pantheon, perhaps the Norse one would be more difficult to adapt since most are beings like dragons, snakes, giants, etc.

But the Roman pantheon has some "easier" cases to adapt, I'm sure there would be some way to search for possible cases of little-known gods, such as Hades wanting hell since he didn't have Lucifer, Crowley and later Asmodeus.

I also thought of Azrael as a possible character since he is known as 'The Angel of Death.

Misha's dead pan delivery was great lol.

I wondered if it was written as a joke, or if it was unintentionally funny during script readings.

Absolutely wonderful seeing the 3 of them together all happy and joyful.

I'll go with these 4.

• I really liked Missouri. I can't say I loved her cause she wasn't on the show enough for me to feel like that but I would've really enjoyed to see more of her. Especially in the first seasons, I could see her establish a pretty good dynamic with Sam, helping him understand his psychic powers more. I think she could've been a really good parental figure to both of them. And she cracked me up sm so why not lol.

• Henriksen was probably one of the characters that had the most potential imo. He was interesting, he stood his ground and he could've done so much more. I always thought that it would've been cool for them to have someone like him as a friend, to help them with the law. They really wasted his character.

• Where do I even start with Kevin. He had such a sad story and deserved better but other than that he also had sm potential to be a really good character. He already was to me tbh, I really loved him and bawled my eyes out when he died, but he definetly could've been even better. The writers did him dirty and I'll never forgive them for it.

•I know many ppl hate Gadreel so I think this is an unpopular opinion. I think he was a very compelling character and I wish we could've seen more of him. He did bad things but his intentions weren't bad. At the end of the day he was just another manipulated angel that thought he was doing the right thing. He has a lot of history if you think about it, especially with Lucifer, so getting rid of someone like him so soon was really a shame imo. I would've loved to see him interact with Lucifer in s11 for the first time in who knows how long. He could've had a great redemption arc (unlike some unrealistic redemptions that some characters had) and could've been a good ally. I don't hate him for what he did tbh, I actually feel bad for him, I only hate Metatron.

Amy Pond? (literature.cafe)

How do y'all feel about Dean going behind Sam's back to kill the girl that had saved his life in the past by stabbing her own mother to death?

I mean, granted she is a kitsune that feeds off pituitary glands, but she was a mortician and making it work by feeding off the dead.

As she told Sam, she only needed to take a couple fresh ones for her dying son and swore off any future slayings.

Doesn't it seem a bit hypocritical of him, considering his friendship with Benny the vampire later on and expecting Sam to just be okay with that, not to mention subversive (he couldn't even bring Amy up to Sam during the next episode where he's on trial by Osiris for all the guilt in his heart)? Also, there was never a follow-through with her son who claimed he was going to kill Dean.

Instead we got Cole 😂

Season 1 episode 22, this dialogue hit me.

Dean: "He’d be furious."
John (Possessed by Azazel): "What?"
Dean: "That I wasted a bullet. He wouldn’t be proud of me, he’d tear me a new one. You’re not my Dad."

I'm sure this fact has been done to death, but the fact that Dean, who as he put it "knows his father better than anyone else alive" recognized the fact John was possessed because Azazel-in-John's-body told Dean "I'm proud of you" is absolutely heartbreaking.

And there are so many other moments in the end of S1 episodes where you see how demeaning John's language is to them, and Dean especially--

"Touch up your car. It's starting to rust. I wouldn't have given you the damn thing if I knew you were going to ruin it."

"I'm not a huge fan of your new tone."

"You disobeyed a direct order."

I understand that John had to do what he had to do to ensure Sam and Dean survived in a world where he had good reason to believe monsters were after his children and himself.

Some of what he did was harsh but somewhat understandable if John imagines himself living in a somewhat apocalyptic wild-west type world with unchecked evils coming fro them.

But there's absolutely no reason why, in that scenario, he couldn't have ensured he told his boys he was proud of them, praised their accomplishments, ensured that they knew even when they made mistakes, they were still valued and loved.

Moments like this make me understand why at times Dean and Sam both say incredibly harsh and hurtful things to one another.

John was neglectful at best and abusive at worst in his language towards them.

They emulated that sometimes in their treatment of each other, but at least both Dean and Sam seemed to know how to apologize--something John was pretty garbage at.

Jensen said that he does not know if they will ever be able to hang it up, so a chance to start again exists.

He talked about parallel universes and resurrections.

He said that if they are going to come back they want the full cast. Now that they have Jack as God anything is possible

Gadreel was a normal angel but nerfed after the Fall, yet he still Obliterated a diner full of 4-6 demons by himself.

Angels still could've been a threat after they were nerfed at having 1/3 of their power after thenfall.

Both equally hilarious but I gotta go with Dean with ghost sickness

All of the facial expressions and incredibly cheesy jokes are unmatched.

Misha was definitely having a lot of fun.

So their three strengths:

-"Invulnerability" -Shapeshifting/Mind Melding -Physical strength that surpasses any monster Sam and Dean have faced

Their weaknesses:

-Borax is basically more powerful holy water to them -Decapitation immobilizes them -They don't have humanity or human creativity -Their viciousness causes them to get caught easily

Compare them to demons, who can do anything they can do, without needing to clean up a body afterwards.

They're also literally just suped up humans, they have that creativity that Leviathans are jealous of, in fact, their creativity is encouraged in terms of torture, and it's been shown that some demons train up psychopaths to prep them to torture in hell.

Point is, demons have the things Leviathans have and don't have, that they want.

Demons may be weak in the fact that most lower level demons will walk straight into a devil's trap, but it's also really worth mentioning that a witch was able to completely paralyze a leviathan for a day, and take its super strength away for several, all of this without a single incantation (He didn't even know what a leviathan was either).

Witches just siphon off some power from demons, so lower level leviathans have no shot against more powerful demons.

Lower Leviathans can't do anything against higher demons, but lower demons can just get a bucket of cleaner and do the ice bucket challenge with whatever Leviathan they come across (Then rip their heads off with brute strength).

Same thing goes with monsters too, which are BY BLOOD, supposed to be significantly weaker than Leviathans.

All they need is some Borax and their brute strength to take out most Leviathans, and this isn't even talking about Alphas which are the fastest and strongest things we've seen in the series, next to Eve (Who's literally supposed to be the younger sibling of Leviathans)

Claire is potrayed to be an angry, selfish, rebellious character in the show, but I still love her.

She has to watch her father, or rather, the body of her father, walking around, alive, knowing and understanding that it's not him anymore.

Same eyes, different gaze.

Same arms, different embrace.

She also lost her mother not long after she found her 😢
