My cats also really enjoy sitting riiiiiight in the middle of the doorway, so I just have to stand there holding the door open while they leisurely ponder their next move. Sometimes, I tell them to get a move on because I have work to do, but I think they see that as more of a Li-problem than a Kitty-problem >:(

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH PYTHON

A few months ago I was sick with a stomach bug so Jordan decided to keep me company. I slept for most of the day, but I would wake up every couple of hours in a hazy stupor, and every time, Jordan was watching a series of lectures called Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs. It drove me INSANE. Everything about it is maddeningly 80โs and one of the guys had weird speech quirks and then thereโs weird music and somehow some kind of wizard. It would be the first thing I heard when I woke up and the last thing I heard when I fell back to sleep, permeating my brain insidiously as I suffered without escape. And that is why I now hate Lisp.

I have a few Detective Beans speaking events coming up (as well as a mini Australian book tour - more details soon) and while I'm really excited, my inner hermit is feeling a bit overwhelmed and slightly wishing I could just hide in my room with a bag of cheeps instead. Hence this little drawing :)
