Except their gun laws are pretty permissive and from reading the article it seems like there were plenty of opportunities for that “good guy with a gun” to have stopped it before the police caught up with him.

Probably the easiest way to do it real time (still not particularly easy) would be to have OBS capturing the feed, have the instant replay buffer enabled and when a goal is scored, save the buffer, maybe trim it with a simple editor (or even better, just ffmpeg) and then upload the clip.

There was a time when Digg and Google Reader were still around that I never touched Reddit. I would just have Google Reader with a bunch of useful RSS feeds and if I wanted to have some social element, there was Digg. Then Digg shit the bed, Google got bored of Reader and I ended up on Reddit.

I think you’re right. It’s time to get RSS back in place.
