Thanks. I'm glad it got there eventually even without its upvote. There definitely seems to be some ongoing syncing issues in other places too, like c/pokemon@lemmy.ml showing as empty here. I hope things don't get too bad with the Reddit exodus.
c/pokemon@lemmy.ml has a single post for me, are your language settings set correctly? i had to hold down ctrl and click both "undetermined" and "english" to see most posts.
I see the one post now too, but it should have pages and pages of posts.

Good thought, but I do have both "Undetermined" and "English" (and some other languages) selected in my settings.
As part of the fediverse, posts and content don't back date when federating. Which is to say that if you are the first person on an instance to follow a community on another instance, you will get all of the future content to that group, but not the previous history.
You can however manually force specific threads from other instances to load on this instance by putting the URL for the post in to the search box on this instance
I guess I'm a little confused because I was the first person here to subscribe to !chess@lemmy.ml, but it was instantly showing 40 posts without me doing anything.
