That's still a no true Scotsman argument. But sure, let's pretend that the trump shooter was a hardcore republican, it doesn't change the fact that political violence is still being perpetrated against individuals on both sides.
Informing you that a right wing idiot tried to assassinate an ultra-right wing idiot isn't a "no true scotsman" argument. You keep pointing to right-wing violence as evidence of left-wing violence.
That's a straw man argument. I am saying
I'm arguing that this is a both sides issue from an attacked individuals perspective. Most political violence is the result of extremism and a lack of mental heath services. Framing the recent uptick as right or left won't solve the core issue.
Who is pushing the extremism and discouragement of community support for good mental health?
The core issue isn't what you seem to think it is.
