I would highly recommend it! I just upgraded my s2+ triple with this driver and a Kaidomain 519a DD 3500k. It’s a wonderful thing.

Those folks at Wurkkos don’t hang around. 7 days after ordering and 6 from dispatch, to the UK. I also got the free holster as part of the Father’s Day promo, although it’s too large for the TS10 - I’ll find a use for it! The longer, black clip came too.

Red AUX 3000k Orange, 4000k I think the red looks superb against the copper.

I mean if anyone wants to make dedicated copper s2 triple spacers for the UK, or some cool c/flashlight patches and stickers I will be alllllll over it

Love those shots, the 3rd image looks like a cell under a microscope or something

Experience like this is why this community rocks. Intrigued by Adair21’s answer, I read around the web to understand better - I didn’t realise there could be so much tolerance in LED forward voltages!

As a result, when in parallel/at the same drive voltage, different currents drawn = different relative brightness. Outside of independent resistors, you’d need to get lucky with matched emitter tolerances or just run above moonlight so that the difference is less noticeable.

Maybe it’s a reflection of the cost of the KD boards?

Any addition to the TS10 family is going to be well received, especially these ideas

Is there any plan to port some information over such as popular emitters / buying guides? Also, is it possible to have it quickly accessible in the sidebar (kind of mimicking the ‘About’ section of our Reddit?) it looks like posts can be favourited/saved. I’m still learning the ropes here so apologies if I’m missing it.

That exact question was just asked over at BLF and Terry replied “we did not get the suitable RGB LED for TS10 head size last year, will search if anything update this year” BLF thread

If anyone has missed it in the chaos, the Copper TS10 is available in 4000k, 3000k with rgb, red or orange aux at Wurkkos’ site.

I think you might end up with an echo chamber over on Reddit, as people will likely stick to a single platform

The reviews seem to suggest the P60. Im a big fan of the 3000k hi cri SST20 from KD. When I was looking to build my triple, the 219CT, LH351A and SST20 were often compared and unless you were particular about a tint, the sst20 seemed the more popular suggestion

Great display. Kind of looks like they’re in a replicator!

Hi All,

I recently built my first 2x S2+ triples with KD SST20 MCPCBs and Convoy 5A drivers. On one of them I noticed, when at 1%, 1 emitter is noticeably dimmer than the other 2. My second triple I changed the sense resistor to provide slightly more amps and that one is fine.

Anyone experienced this? Could it be a bad mcpcb, driver/level issue?

Checking in! I initially signed up for kbin and just got a lemmy account too. There’s very little, flashlight related going on at kbin at the minute. I know the site’s struggling with traffic. The UI seems odd.

First impressions here it feels more like home!
