Just yesterday I wanted to disable sound devices. The button in the settings app even says „turn devices on/off“, but once inside the menu, there is no option to enable or disable sound devices.

Had to use the control panel again.

Context menu key is really useful. :D

Don‘t have one and honestly I don’t miss it.

I only use wired headphones at my computer.

All banks in EU have APIs for this purpose (also see PSD2).

Hi, out of no where when I boot into my tumbleweed installation (secure boot, uefi), it goes straight to grub rescue, no error messages.

I've tried to follow this guide here: https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/archive/15.1/startup/html/book.opensuse.startup/cha-trouble.html#sec-trouble-data-recover-rescue-access

However, first of all when I boot into a live cd in rescue mode and login as root, it doesn't find the command "rootvgimport".

Fair enough, continuing the guide and running lsblk shows my lvm installation, but I'm not able to mount it.

When I run "mount /dev/sdc /mnt" it says it cannot mount because it's busy or already mounted (it's not mounted by me anyway).

If I try "mount /dev/sdc2 /mnt" it says unknown filesystem LVM_Member.

Running "mount /dev/sdc2/system-root /mnt" doesn't work either.

Any ideas?

Are these cleaning apps still a thing?

Not American, what is this?

I had so many issues with the unit that after around 30-40 emails back and forth the support decided to give me a refund. I really tried to help them fix the call issues I was having, including debug logs, switching provider, sim card etc. At some point I didn't have patience anymore and requested either the Pixel 8 Pro or a refund.

Hi, this is the last week before I will return my Pixel 7 Pro for a refund, after owning it for a year. My replacement is the 15 Pro Max, and I thought I'd post here in case anyone has any questions regarding these two devices.
I know it's not best comparison as the Pixel 8 Pro is out, but in any case..

I can take pictures, run benchmarks, answer other questions etc.

I know this is for the 8 pro but man the modem on the 7 pro was such bullsh… All kinds of issues. So bad that even googles support gave in and offered a refund after 1 year.

For a while I was considering the 8 pro, but I think their hardware is not close to par with the others yet and the new price is a joke for a pixel.

Went for something else instead and won’t return to pixel for at least a few years.

Imo no. Android used to be exciting and customizable.
I think this aspect has been decreasing over time and the development of new features has stagnated somewhat.
Of course, the os is also more mature and you can't expect such growth forever.
Still, they promised "feature drops", I've had my pixel 7 pro and the pixel watch for a year now and they have added like 1 or 2 very minor features, and most of them are features in Google apps lol.

I don't like that seemingly everything gets tied to googles own BS now.
iOS seems more and more appealing to me honestly, especially considering all the hardware issues with the Pixel.

For 20€? Lol

Slim, after some years they will quietly drop the support, or only provide security updates.

At best they will exclude a Buch of Features and roll out a dumb version of the os upgrade.
