Good it’s true. He is a literal racist. If you will vote for someone that hates people with your skin color you deserve what comes to you.

Blood line is a literal line of blood between the family. In-laws don’t count. It’s important when talking about royalty and you trace back whether someone has actual “royal blood” or is just an in law that married into the family.

My only gripe is it is EXTREMELY left leaning in general, and if anyone has a less polarizing opinion about something the hive mind reacts.

Not to mention you can’t talk about anything political without someone bringing up how my political views promote genocide.

Because Halloween is associated with the devil and the religious wackos can’t have our children celebrating the devil.

Spend time with my kids and play video games while they’re at school

Tell him straight up. Unfortunately the only approach is direct or it will get worse. After you tell him, tell your boss the conversation in case the coworker tries to be petty and report you.

I am a manager at my job and see this type of stuff all the time. Could it be he simply wants to be friendly? Sure. Either way it’s better to be direct so there is zero confusion.

I would tell him, “Look John, you’re a nice guy but I’m not interested in making small talk with you”. And then just continue your work. If he doesn’t leave you alone after that then it’s time to go to HR. Please do not feel bad. Some people lack self awareness at the workplace and don’t know how to act in a professional setting.

Why would your advice be to commit sexual harassment in the work place?

You are arguing semantics on whether it’s paid or not. No one cares. The point is, paid or not, your job has to give you time to vote, usually at the employees expense.

[-] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

Oh no it’s never paid, but they have to allow them time to vote. Usually that means wake up at 6am to get to the polls by 7

[-] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 26 points 3 days ago

By law employers are required to allow their workers an opportunity to vote. The problem is other stuff like taking their kids to school and having to go to work right after and by the time you make it to the poll through rush hour traffic, the line is out the door and they shut it down and don’t let you vote even though you waited for an hour.

I don’t understand how a miscarriage counts as abortion. The baby literally died in the womb. This law is sickening. My sister-in-law had a miscarriage last year and it’s scary to think that she could lose her life by trying to become a mother. The crazy part is her religion essentially tells women they aren’t fulfilling their duty to God if they don’t become a mother. (Mormon)

Depends on what you’re looking for. If you want a game exactly like BotW than no, Elden Ring is harder and has a lot more complex mechanics.

If you’re asking because you can only play one then Elden Ring is better and it’s not even close. With that said it is not meant for casual play, if you don’t like losing do not play it. Dying is a core mechanic of the game.
