I love DS9, but I wish they didn't have her falling over herself to die for men left and right for most of the series. I liked her as a character but she wasn't always written with respect IMO.

I love DS9, it's where I got my name lol
When one of my friends came out to me as trans I told him that I might mess up with his name or pronouns at first but it wouldn't be from a place of hate, it'd be because of my broken brain.
It's been 7 years now and at this point I don't even remember what his name used to be, and frankly it's not important anyways.
He'll hopefully be my friend for awhile longer, I still correct people sometimes when we talk but it's a lot less frequent these days.
I gotta watch more DS9.
