No I dont think its not reliable I think they are doing this publicly for those reason. We all know how fragile both of those people are, to do this spat in public where they will get the cult of personalities to face off against each other wont further the cause, this is why they are willing to do this openly, sure the socials will be dogfood but it helps with noise and the theatre of it all.
Wasn't his contract naturally coming to it's end? If so, this is him trying to spin it like his choice to leave.
