Kaboom is a fascist. They've been posting a lot more and I think it's because the check from the Kremlin finally cleared.

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 73 points 1 month ago

Yup! There's like 3 people who post in that fascist little community, and he is an open Christian Nationalist.

It's so funny to dunk on them though, because they seem to actually believe the bullshit that gets shovelled down their throats by the insane reactionary media they use to work themselves into a rage.

They think they portray themselves like reasonable scholars, but to anyone outside their little bubble they sound like bath-salt snorting weirdos. Anything that cracks that bubble is deleted immediately by the chief weirdo who mods over there.

As a proud shit stirrer, I've got to say I've never seen a good take from that instance, but I'm also not entirely certain it's not one person.

It’s one of the worst in my experience, sh!tjustworks too

Idk. They seem the type to do it for free/love of the game

[-] SelfProgrammed@lemmy.world 24 points 1 month ago

I can't imagine anything more "snowflake" than posting from a server that has disabled downvoted. They have no idea how universally hated their politics are.

Conservatives barely care for their own children, which explains their almost complete disdain for others' kids

[-] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 121 points 1 month ago

Fellas, is it gay to have family?

[-] Clent@lemmy.world 48 points 1 month ago

Yes if the family has children that are the same gender as you and you love them; totally gay.

[-] Im_old@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago

what if I only see them as friends?

[-] Clent@lemmy.world 20 points 1 month ago

Not gay but only if you say no homo anytime there is accidental physical contact.

Having friends is a sign of weakness, and therefore, gay.

Only if you have a son, then you’re sharing her insides with another guy

[-] TriPolarBearz@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

But I thought sharing a lady's insides is still not gay as long as your balls aren't touching?

[-] Juice@midwest.social 61 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Cuckoldry has no temporal dimension

If a conservative's wife had sex with someone before she married him, the conservative is a cuck. In order to avoid this humiliation, conservatives advocate marrying children. This is consistent and inevitable logic

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago

Pedocon theory is a theory like gravity is a theory.

I’m ready for my interview.

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 37 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Were you devastated to find out this way?

[-] DScratch@sh.itjust.works 61 points 1 month ago

Shook, is a better term, I think.

I needed a cup of warm soy milk to calm my nerves.

[-] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

Is your username a Doc Scratch reference?

[-] DScratch@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 month ago

No, DaddyScratch was the result of my real name into a Rap Name Generator back in 2009.

[-] MystikIncarnate@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 month ago

Is there a reason you use uncommon terms to refer to family members?

Eg "wife's son" vs "stepson"?

Or was the kid your offspring and you just wanted to bait that loser?

[-] DScratch@sh.itjust.works 14 points 1 month ago

It was 100% trolling. I’m not married and neither my partner nor myself have any children.

It’s playing into the liberal soyboy cuck stereotype.

[-] petrol_sniff_king 7 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

To be fair, I don't think "wife's son" is all that weird to begin with. I'd think it just means you aren't close with your girlfriend's kids yet.

[edit] 'wife', married, right. I just realized. Still, I don't think it's that weird.

I am actually doing quite well, thank you for asking.

[-] L0rdMathias@sh.itjust.works 53 points 1 month ago

Stop feeding the trolls.

You really refer to your stepson as your wife's son in casual conversation? That's highly unusual. You can't respond to a text conversation over the internet because you're going to go do something for an hour or two? This is dishonest as fuck, the guy is clearly mentally handicapped based on the post history and you're baiting him, be it consciously or unconsiously, so that you can farm fake internet updoot points.

Stop filling the fediverse with your reddit tier personal drama. No one gives a fuck that a moron is capable of typing a post on internet. You're acting a clown responding to it genuinely, and validating it with this blog post. This is how these people find the motivation to band together and make their little incel cults.

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 32 points 1 month ago

I'm not sure how successful they are at farming fake internet points when I'm the only other person who saw it and up voted it.

You ok bud? Maybe avoid this community if you don't want to see stupid drama? You know, since that's the entire point?

And for the record, laughing at reactionaries is absolutely the right way to deal with them; they are incapable of introspection, so exposing them as the fools they are keeps other people from falling for their bullshit.

[-] kyle@lemm.ee 17 points 1 month ago

It's not actually unusual to refer to them as such, especially if they didn't go through a formal adoption process. I wouldn't say it's common where I'm from, but certainly not noteworthy.

I don't think we should feed the trolls either but suggesting OP is responsible for others making incel cults is extreme.

Christ, Kaboom is embarrassing. Just on every level -- as a man, as a person, as someone on lemmy, as a person who making jokes, just everything. God he's embarrassing.

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 25 points 1 month ago

There really should be a word for someone who acts so tacky, but is unaware that they are doing so. I guess "conservative" will have to do.

[-] TSG_Asmodeus@lemmy.world 22 points 1 month ago

I think we need to use the 'bootlicker' word more, because we need to point out these are people stanning for rich people. So it's some combination of 'self-made slave,' 'cruel,' and 'tactless.'

Either way, it's like watching someone elses kid on the playground eating cat shit out of the sand box.

[-] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 46 points 1 month ago

It takes a real man who is confident and loving enough to take someone else’s child in and treat them as their own. I can only hope that whomever my ex-wife gets serious with will do this for my children when they are with her. “It takes a village” after all.

[-] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 1 month ago

Isn't the OP the bull? It's the OP's wife's ex who is the cuck. I'm not agreeing with the asshole but I think the definitions are mixed up.

[-] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

If true, then one day (soon) I’ll be a cuck too. 😅 😂 😬

[-] HootinNHollerin@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

JFC that guys comment and post history. And that doesn’t include all the ones that were removed

[-] Voltage@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 month ago

Why can't he just say his son or stepson?

[-] Classy@sh.itjust.works 18 points 1 month ago

Correct take. "Wife's son" taken genuinely gives off very strong distancing vibes. It feels like he's trying to disown or reject his relationship to the stepson. It's kind of like when people say "baby mama" to refer to their current partner. No, there's no direct link between them and myself: we're just related by this other secondary relationship.

"my wife's _" is such a huge meme that it feels forced to even try reading it genuinely when a more organic way of wording it is available.

[-] saigot@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 month ago

IMHO you don't get to call them that until they call you dad, and that doesn't necessarily happen the moment you get married.

My mother in law married someone while my wife was an adult. She would never call him dad, and he would never call her daughter, that doesn't mean they aren't family or aren't close.

[-] curbstickle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 1 month ago

Holy crap!

Some of those comments could seem like an extreme joke of conservative beliefs, but when you take the rest of the comments they actually believe it - that's a terrifying level of far right nutso.

[-] Linkerbaan@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Most recent stuff is denying the Genocide in Gaza and stanning for israel lmao.

I mean, if you take the word literally, as in cuckoo, he is technically right. Even more so than the actual meaning of cuck. Since cuckoos don't bang other birds' partners, but make them raise children that aren't theirs.

[-] MentalEdge@sopuli.xyz 9 points 1 month ago

Wouldn't that make the wifes former partner the cuck? Not the current one?

[-] ricecake@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago

Based on the bird behavior it would be closer, yeah.
Looking at the etymology, it seems the middle English just used the word for the whole situation, and not a strict analogy.

For pure bird-ness, it would apply best to a case of a woman adopting a step child, even more to adoption, and most of all to a single mother with three kids who one day realizes she's not sure how long there have been four babies in her house, and even though one is three times the size of the others and looks very different, they all have similar lower faces so she can't really tell and feeds them all just to be safe.
