Physics vs metaphysics, the branch of philosophy that studies time.
The physicist and the philosopher are both claiming that time is the order in which we observe things happening, the actual dispute is over the most fundamental force in science: nomenclature.
I think I speak for most of the scientific field when I say philosophers contribute nothing to society except useless sophistry.
Ummm… Just off the top of my head, I bet John Rawls or Karl Popper have done more for humanity than a jackass that confidently denigrates an entire field of study.
