Are those east coast places or something? I've never seen either one.
My hierarchy is Potbelly > Jersey Mike's > Subway. There's also Jimmy John's, but I haven't been to one for a long time because I was boycotting them, but I'll have to give them a try since I found out the company changed owners.
Oh and Quiznos might still be good, but they have so few locations I thought they didn't exist anymore.
I mean, subway fucking exists and the bar is so low at the other ones I'm not sure if put them near the bottom. Look for a local option and check that out is always the better option for food.
I like their Phillies, but that was where Phillies weren't that common. The mall had Phillies too, and honestly I think I liked em better, but Jersey Mike's was faster to get to.
Jersey Mike's consistently has good Phillies in places that don't know how to make a good Philly. I'm also personally a fan of the club sandwich mike's way. But that's about it. Everything else I can take it or leave it.
Those Phillies though, they keep me coming back to JM's in new places.
This is an insane take. Like fuck corporations and fuck this kind of insidious marketing, but JM's is easily the very top of the chain-based sandwich restaurants
You're not missing anything. They're the worst of the sandwich chains, IMO.
Subway exists and takes that spot no contest
Quality is about the same if we're being honest, but I can feed two people at subway for the price of one at Jersey Mike's
I'm not a huge fan of either place but Jersey Mike's crushes Subway. There's no comparison!
What do you consider to be the best?
DiBella's, hands fucking down. Failing that, a sub from Wegmans.

Wegmans is an East coast grocery store, but IIRC DiBella's has made it all the way to Indiana.

One thing I will give them is the one time I went to one the produce was very fresh. Points for that. The bread sucked and the meat was spare.

We just call them Cheesesteaks here
You've insulted my entire existence I challenge you to a duel
