I did the regular mode so I cant speak to the CM BUT I didn't enjoy it. I have a feeling they were undecided on fractal vs strike vs a fractal designed to introduce you to strikes. I'm actively avoiding this map in fractals.
Today I learned they removed the barrier generation from Skill 1 on the Mace. That kind of makes alacrity harder to maintain uptime on. Especially with the Mechanical Genius trait where your 300(ish?) away and it increases the time of the mech skill cooldowns.
Looks like catalyst got some needed nerfs for PvP. I'm not familiar with the class to know if it's balanced yet but they were dominating PvP.
At this point I wonder if they intentionally make drastic changes to try and force the meta to change and requires players to innovate so it doesn't get stale.
I finally finished up Aurora, and Vision, and Coalescence. So I am desperate for gold. I'm working on conflux so I can swap stats and new builds easily whatever theory crafting comes up.
I'm gathering Jade Runestones. Im speculating less people will be on those maps after the release, other than alt parking. I gather about 5 a day. With less people in the EoD they might be more valuable post release?
I should probably do more or the EoD metas too.
I'm working on my WvW skirmish chests and holding those for however many points I'll need. Otherwise running fractals for gold.
If I had time I would run the HoT metas too because based on their answer-no-answer the legendary runes will have some part to do with the new system they designed around relics.
Just gathering resources and whatever I can. Also Mystic coins. They might try to alleviate their value by adding a new legendary item, like ASS, but that's unknown and all speculation. Mystic coins have gone up a bit already.
The position rewinder was a big help. I went with Skyscale before I got griffon. It was fine with the rewinder to help get things. I was taking forever to find things initially. I used tekkits plug in through TaCo. It was amazing to help find the things I needed.
I really hope it's not "Were making it up as we go and we don't want to admit we forgot about legendary runes so we need more time before we disappoint you."
Because it's a gateway to toxic players gatekeeping others from participating in their content. I love the idea, I truly do. Seeing what others are playing comparing and contrasting your own efforts for self improvement. I just hope this doesn't lead to a requirement for a fractal to post your stuff, or be told you're trash in WvW for running Celestial or Trail Blazer/Apothecary.
I'm excited for this. I hope it's fun but not too long. Sunqas Peak and Sirens Reef are long because of the narration. As long as it's not a narration pause I'm usually okay with it.
I will post a couple links I use regularly. If you are not sure you have something somewhere on your account add your API key to this site and help find it under "Account" gw2efficiency.com Also if you want to craft something but don't know the steps or how much you need use the crafting tab. The site is a pretty amazing tool. Need to level up your crafting? gw2crafts.net will give you 2 options, the most cost effective and the fastest way. Just make sure to save the link in the page because it's timestamps as the trading post values may change. Speaking of the trading post. gw2tp.com will tell you prices of past items. Not sure you want to sell your materials, equipment, or even In Game Event loot chests? Check the history on it. Need to earn some gold? Here is a site with great links to park alts, what events pay the most gold per hour versus per run, and other basics including some farming builds. https://fast.farming-community.eu/ Need a build? Metabattle.com has a ton. But most importantly do what you love.
Because of selfish objectivism. They believe because it makes them happy it is moral. Which is quite a philosophical debate. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objectivism
Not a fan of the Druid changes for WvW builds. Ancient seeds was really fun to play. However I am interested to see its heal and alacrity options in fractals and raids.
I don't like what they did with heal scourge.
I love engineer. I am glad they made elixirs unblockable. I can't believe it took them 10 years to do it, lol. However the combo fields will be interesting to see how the builds and rotations turn out.
I agree. Wasn't there already a rift event in one of the core maps that you had to close by defeating a boss aftering being teleported to a different map?
