Hi guys do you know any good places to rent/borrow light novels?

In the case of borrowing:

  • My local library via libby doesn't seem to have any.

In the case of renting:

  • With J-novel I've found three ways of renting. 1) Using scribid (aprox 7 book limit per month) 2) Using jnc membership for prepub 3) Rent via jnc (can be more or less expensive than scribid depending on number of parts).

My problem however is with other publishers their aren't really any options to rent/borrow books (reading spice and wolf via yenpress).

I hope this post doesn't sound stingy in general just curious on general options.

Harris County Public Library let’s you get a free online library card to use on Libby. Other libraries charge nominal fees for the same. (Googleable info on which libraries these are; I forget the list)

Thanks I got a library card with Harris. On a side note does Yen Press in general only distribute light novels physically in libraries? When searching libby (overdrive) I only managed to find the audio books and manga via library pass (though library pass has instant acess and no borrow time limits).

Checking their sales and distribution page I only could find they distribute manga digitaly
