The IDF seems to be taking a stab at humility the last few weeks. What they don't seem to realize that all their lies can never be forgiven because they admit to a few murders of their own people.
If a state gets caught knowingly lying about things like this, nobody should ever believe them again with anything. Its insane that anyone still does.
And yet people still believe the USA
The USA has a very strong and effective propaganda machine in action. It uses the Illusory truth effect, suppresses dissent and makes it so that you have to look hard to seek out the truth. I would argue that it is perhaps the most effective propaganda machine on the planet. Not really comparable here.
No one is surprised.

Hamas hides their military operations behind Palestinian civilians, are we really that surprised that they also hide behind Israeli civilians too? Isn't that the point of taking the hostages in the first place?
Do you support the much larger number of Palestinian children from the West Bank being taken hostage by the IDF without a judicial process?

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
