While everyone is waiting for electric cars to take over the highways, the real e-action is happening on your local bike path: 18% of pedal-only bikes sold in 2023 were electric, while electric cars made up only 7.6% of car sales in the same year, and that's not even taking all the electric scooters, skateboards, and other vehicles into account. It's time for you to make this the best summer ever by hopping on an e-bike, e-scooter, or electric unicycle and getting out there.

Antisocial business practices aside, I've enjoyed riding those rental scooter services when I visit cities that have one.

How do you lock up a personal scooter?

Mostly people seem to use cable locks from what I've seen around the city. There's always something on the scooter to loop it through.

Just dusted off my Boosted Board for my first ride of the summer!

I can't, I've already bought one.

Also, I'm poor.

If anyone has a Specialized Turbo Vado or Tern Vektron they want to send me though, that would be A-OK! I'd totally take a GSD or Quick Haul too.

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
