Sita is a Hindu name. I assume they are upset that the Muslim male lion has a partner who has a Hindu name.

Sita is a Hindu goddess and Rama's consort.

Akbar, it looks like conquered a lot of India and seems to have it out for the 'infidels', presumably non-Islamic Indians.

Given the history between the two groups in the region, I can understand having a cultural dislike for the symbolism.
