This chapter was wild. That whole magic circle summoning feels so crazy in the One Piece verse. I had forgotten that apparently during the timeskip there was a cover story or something where Brook was summoned with a magic circle too, but there wasn't much focus on it and it was used mostly as a gag. So it could be magic is a thing in the One Piece world.

The Elders are looking straight up elderitch now between their silhouettes when facing Sabo and now Saturn looking like a yokai. Definitely an interesting twist.
