Is there a service on the Fediverse where, an instance's mods can filter out specific keywords from showing on local timelines automatically? (lemmings.world)

Mastodon, being popular, has a feature with filter blocking for the user level. But no such feature for the mods them selves to help them moderate their communities. I think even Lemmy could benefit from potential ease of moderation

Is/should their be an option where moderators can auto block potentially offensive words used in uses posts, on their local timeline or beyond?

Yes, Lemmy.ml uses one for slurs. Try and say bitch over there. (female dog)
