To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the release of Half-Life we reunited the original development team to share their memories of creating Valve's first game.

Half-Life contains a multitude of unused sounds, character voice lines and vocabulary words used for "speaking" entities such as the HEV suit and announcement system.

The file "sound/sentences.txt" contains a list of sentences allowing the game to easily call a sound, or string of sounds, for these purposes. This page includes both unused sentences and unused sound files without an associated sentence.

Codename: Loop is a fan game made by PinkyDev that aims to make a roguelike twin stick shooter based on Half-Life. A new map was recently updated in that recreates the chapter "Questionable Ethics" in this new format.
