I’m not going to buy an Apple TV or a HomePod just for this.

Apple used to let you utilize an iPad as a hub. Not anymore!

I do wonder if any of the Matter upgrades mean you could find a cheap compatible hub at IKEA or something.

I’m also surprised there’s still not a “hub” app you could just leave running on an always-on computer. Seems like something Homebridge or Plex would offer.

Hmmm maybe that’s why the widget never worked in beta 2 and 3 and now seems to work fine
