Love that, I do the same. If you want to spread a bit of cheer though, I also tag good behaviour or people that sound like they could use cheering up so I can remember to say something nice next time I see them.

Flash freezing individual fish feels a bit different than taking out that (presumably thawed) fish, using it to make sushi rolls, and then refreezing it.

Edit: My perception was obscured by disgust and I didn't realize these are California rolls and don't have fish, but the point stands. Frozen rice and frozen avocado are fucking gnarly. Frozen avocado especially is a sin.

I always thought the sink plunger was for toilet and the toilet plunger was just a fancier plunger.

Looks to me like the "shelf" is a curtain rail on closer inspection, but why is it floating and what kind of interior designer has a random ass colour element like that

I think this is because dual flush is more modern, so newer built buildings or ones that are often renovated like businesses or airports would have them. I've seen the dual flush top button on new residential builds because it wastes less water and therefore more economical.

Same with indigenous people on turtle island (north america).

I'd argue that it doesnt really count since the concept of 'country' though is more colonial in its origins so realistically, a 'country' wouldn't exist until after colonization in these areas.

Nations might've existed with different groups/tribes/villages sharing a culture, but the concepts of clear-cut borders, strict land ownership, and nationalism (which to me are a requirement for the concept of a "country") are significantly different in many indigenous cultures as compared to colonial states. Maybe with the exception of some Latin American empires? Though I don't know enough about those empires to be confident in that.

I had the same experience and did feel badly for them as well. For a lot of them (especially middle aged men in my experience), they just seemed very lonely. I miss a lot of those regulars, they were generally good people.

There has to be more of a reason that all the anti-trans legislation have gone throughover there (I mean, aside from JK Rowling's massive lobbying). Laws might not represent all of the people all the time, but they certainly represent a part of a population.

I've been to a pro-pal protests few around different cities and have never met any real anti-Semite on the side of the protest. I have, however, met a couple of counter protesters that hold the Israeli flag yet proudly call themselves white supremacists.
