Love shorty 300blk builds, this looks awesome :D

I second the nomination for ftn4, there is no other project in existence with as many well tested variants. It's a proven design.

The bipoly makes no sacrifices on strength, that fixed stock is king as the buffer tower is traditionally a weak point. If you want to run a buffer tube and a collapsible stock, something like the Defiance or SL-15 are more appropriate.

That said, don't sleep on the bipoly. It's 100% my favorite lower and worth building one for yourself.

That is actually the reason I chose to build this rifle, I shot my brother's 10.5" 5.56 AR with a brake and it blew my eardrums out while I was wearing walker earpro. I'm a big fan of shorty barrels, so I figured this was the cartridge to run with.

I am friends with pla.boi and will be running his newest breek 30 cal ftn with this setup. I'm gonna load 220grs in the cartridges instead of these factory 125s.

They'd spend the rest of our lives examining just the transactions from this year alone.

Amazon would be a better target lol, they kept suggesting CF tubes, thread adapters, and jb weld combined for a while. I was like quit snitching you bitches.

I'd like to see em subpoena mcmaster-carr.

The only thin FTN is the 22lr one, the rest are chonky boys. It comes with the territory of FDM baffles. The 9mm piston can is so fat you can't even use a red dot without some kind of riser :D

A lot of projects do include step files, particularly the ones by creators more into the FOSS ideology.

The ones that don't include step files likely did it on purpose to gatekeep the model.

The Orca is a custom lower/upper pair, look into things like the Bi-poly, the UbarX, or the SL-15 for standalone lowers that can mate to standard uppers.

Respectfully, if you're into ARs, do a bipoly. It's by far my favorite AR lower, cost is about $100, I've had mine for over a year now, has ran about 2k rounds through it, I'd trust it with my life. It pairs with any upper you want, I use it with a bca 5.56 upper and a cmmg 9x19 rdb upper.

This might be a hot take, but considering how authoritarian the government is, regardless of who's in control, and how many fudd bootlickers love to be RSOs, I wouldn't test based shit at a range at all.

Do that shit in private out in the wilderness.
