Is PETG-CF a viable option too since PLA+ and other cf filaments are?

That ain't layer adhesion, all the fissures cross layer lines. And the edges and overhangs definitely look like they were printed with no part cooling.
ASA just isn't different enough from ABS to be advisable for frames.

Don't do PB. The supp creates a vacuum effect. PB will suck backwards and coat your bcg and your buffer and spring.. It will cause your BCG to jam especially with a super safety. It's a bitch and a half to clean out. And then you get to try to clean HARDENEDED and burned PB out of your baffles. Don't ask me how I know, definitely never tried it. However, red axle grease on the other hand 👌

there's the Akuto P89 from UberClay, he hasn't made one specifically compatible with the P85, but the P89 is simply the next evolution of the P85 (basically a Mk3), so it wouldn't be impossible or even all that difficult to make it into a P85 frame
However, it's still not released, but you're free to hit up UberClay on the DD rocket chat and join the beta

in a community built around diy guns, it's amazing to me how low people's bar is for troubleshooting around here, or awareness of how this stuff works. the mac uppers were never designed to take the beating that ar hammer's put on them. It causes issues with all of them.

Was hoping I got good enough layer adhesion here, and I may have, but cracks formed at the pin holes.
Fortunately did not have this happen while firing. I noticed the cracks when inspecting the gun at my desk, flexed it, and it completely snapped.
Figured I would share as an example to others. Filament choice is super important in 3D2A. Be careful.

TBH I just wanted to know why such a good project was stopped after it was already out on the sea, plus it can be done with out a milling machine, the same way the rogue 9 bolt was made with some good jigs you can get a machine finish and we have too many rifles and not one diy pistol that’s 9mm
