I'm currently stuck on iOS and have recently moved from Outlook to Apple's own mail app for privacy. After some testing I noticed that it's vulnerable to DNS Prefetch and video tags. I've disabled loading external images, so I'm confused as to why it's trying to fetch videos? I'm used to how Thunderbird does things by showing emails as plaintext.

real question what is that? I mean kinda looks the same as the dnc but I’m assuming it’s for republicans since we’re on lemmy

Every now and then my Samba share stops working.

$ smbclient -U sambauser '\\192.168.12.11\Apartment'
do_connect: Connection to 192.168.12.11 failed (Error NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED)

This is incredibly annoying, since it happens somewhat frequently too. I restart the container, with no fix. It might be client-side, but I'm boggled by how that could even occur. There are no logs in systemd for smbd. The firewall is disabled.

I had literally never heard of the sleep deprived channel until I encountered this video after like 5 dabs.

This shit was the funniest thing I thought I’ve watched. That and IASIP.

1337x.to was blocked for me today! Even though it doesn’t stream content. Feels like an “enshittification pincer” is happening right now.

Just saw the mentaloutlaw video. Graphene OS has a “duress pin” that wipes the phone when given a certain pin.

Sister spilled liquid over her A2289. I know I can get about $100 for it on the marketplaces, but I don’t want to sell something with personal data on it.

Would you just remove the motherboard? Storage is soldered afaik and I’d need to buy their special screwdriver to open the case.

Representative Mike Lawler, a New York Republican, wrote on X: "This is absurd on its face. The United States has not declared war since 1942 and has conducted over 125 different military actions since that time, including in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Presidents of both parties have relied on Article II authority, as well as AUMFs [Authorizations for Use of Military Force], to conduct targeted strikes and have not been subject to impeachment. In 2011, Barack Obama conducted an 8 month campaign in Libya to topple Gaddafi."
