As someone with ADHD, I feel like this bucks the current trend which is instead to interrupt but then say "I have ADHD" as if that absolves you of the personal responsibility of being a decent communication partner.

Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel are two of my favorite games which I'm almost always down to replay.

Borderlands 3 has solid enough gameplay, but absolutely shit all over the storyline and characters.

What purpose does holding those we imbue with power to higher standards serve? Look around at what the fuck happens when we don't and ask yourself that question again.

And it shouldn't exist for the regular citizen. But those we imbue with power should be held to a higher standard. There should absolutely be harsher, even stark penalties for those that abuse the power we imbue them with.

But "made up" doesn't imply unbelievable, just not real in the specific instance. While based on very believable interaction, it's pretty likely this specific interaction is indeed made up

Duolingo wants you to meme their stupid bird.

Please stop doing free work for corporations.

Fuck Duolingo specifically, as well.

I just don't understand why the fuck sports are held in such high regard that we have to have politicians commenting on them anyway. Like imagine if a bunch of politicians suddenly took a stance on Magic: The Gathering tournament eligibility, or who is or isn't allowed to be in a book club.

For the life of me I will just never understand why we treat sports like they're some sacred pillar of society. It's grownups playing a game. None of this shit matters.

Much like the adult section of the movie rental place, or the romance section at the book store, or the sex toy section at Walmart, you are free to not browse the content you are uninterested in.

I'll never understand this. I'm 40 and I'm still actively seeking out new music and listen to vastly more new releases than anything 5+ years old.

Of course I understand everyone has "their thing" and music happens to be my thing, so I understand the additional interest in my case, but the alternative just seems so damn boring to me...

...Does Bill Nye need more qualifications to be an effective science educator?

That's only the half of it. Look at the rest of the policies, look how they want to cut Medicare and food stamps and other safety net programs.

Make no mistake, this administration wants to see people die.

This is the end game the technocrats have been working towards, this is how they're enacting their eugenics. They want poor people, disabled people, disadvantaged people, to die. They believe they are culling the weak members of the herd for the sake of the betterment of "their" kind (rich, white, "healthy", etc).

These policies aren't stupid or ineffective, they are cruel and insidious by design
