Supernova 2025rbs in NGC 7331

Explanation: A long time ago in a galaxy 50 million light-years away, a star exploded. Light from that supernova was first detected by telescopes on planet Earth on July 14th though, and the extragalactic transient is now known to astronomers as supernova 2025rbsPresently the brightest supernova in planet Earth's sky, 2025rbs is a Type Ia supernova, likely caused by the thermonuclear detonation of a white dwarf star that accreted material from a companion in a binary star system. Type Ia supernovae are used as standard candles to establish the distance scale of the universe. The host galaxy of 2025rbs is NGC 7331. Itself a bright spiral galaxy in the northern constellation Pegasus, NGC 7331 is often touted as an analog to our own Milky Way.

This is an older article, but I think this is what they are talking about.

Interesting. Until this committee checks into this little "gift" I saw we give her a pass. I'm not one for whataboutism, but I think this deserves an exception.

I am currently doing everything I can to take myself off the digital grid. Not like cabin in the woods, just self hosting and dropping Google and Microsoft. I really hope these people see justice in a courthouse if we make it through this.

Sounds like nothing of value was lost in this accident then.

Exactly what is one inspired to do by someone that jumped from a significant height? To go out and get a corporate sponsor so they can foot the bill for your adrenaline addiction?

Certainly not the first time this meatball with the charisma of a wet piece of cardboard has misallocated state funds for stupid immigration stunts

Records show the state of Florida recently paid $615,000 to an Oregon-based aviation company as part of what the DeSantis administration calls a state "relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations."

This was to transport just 50 people. I'm not good at public math but that's about $12,300 a person to fly from Texas to Massachusetts. Make it make sense.

DeSantis answers question on why Florida taxpayers are footing the bill to transport migrants out of Texas—-he claims they intended to come to Florida at some point.

How the fuck would this idiot know what immigrants in Texas are going to do?

If you're looking for a bit of extra touch they have a cool astronaut space camp package where you get to train on some of the same equipment astronauts use and some fun team building activities. They also had astronauts come and eat lunch and give a some time for them to talk to the trainees and some Q&A. Highly recommend.
